IDLE WORD

"For every idle word that men shall speak, they will answer the day of judgment"
                                              (Matthew 12.36).

In snow mountains of Switzerland, in some districts, conductors warn travelers that they didn't say any word since from air fluctuation the hung snow can separate from a block and make the collapse which is carrying away all behind self in a precipice. Who would think, what one word can have such terrible consequences? However moral influence of our words still inexpressibly is more considerable.
Thoughtless words which we so often and easily waste, move events in a current of centuries, and great day of court of terrible our words.
That day we will answer "for any idle word". Whether terribly to think of set of the words told by us which will appear before us then with relentless clarity? "Idle words" are what arise from idle life, a word unnecessary, thoughtless, often harmful. Such mere words passing from there is nothing to do by word of mouth, quite often blacken moral shape of the person, put wounds, express gloating at the sight of another's failure and from empty become cruel.
To "idle words" those conversations interfering in secret area of home life which under the pretext of an empty joke or an inappropriate hint can shake bases of family happiness belong also.
"Your word yes will be always with good fortune", - speaks apostle Pavel (the Stake. 4,6).
The thought on court Divine should be a bridle to our language. We would speak with for the most wisdom if remembered constantly that our words are audible in the sky and that we will find in them to ourselves the justification or accusation last day. As each word as it is pure as it is truthful if we remembered would be sacred for us that one of Most Jesus Christ names was - "Word" (In. 1,1).
